You can still have fun with a woman who wants a relationship

I was talking via text with a guy who bragged that he's always straight up about what he is looking for because it makes it easier. I was complaining about a date who kept me preoccupied with talking about myself while he shoved beers at me, didn't seem at all interested in what I was saying, only that I kept drinking and kept interrupting me with suggestions we go someplace else which turned out to be a preference for my apt.. and how I hate the presumption when I haven't given any indication of feeling flirtatious because I hadn't found him at all attractive and he didn't try to sell himself either. Must have read that women rate their dates as going well when they are the focus of the conversation but I say this is not true! You need to be charming and charming is not buying us too many drinks. 

So I ask the first guy "oh? so what are you looking for then?" and he says "I'm too busy for a relationship. I'm just looking for fun." I immediately felt put out that he's deemed me unworthy based on 4-5 pictures on tinder already and has progressed so quickly to the making excuses phase. He hasn't even met me in person yet and tells me I'm only good for "fun" which is childish internet lingo for sex. To tell you the truth when I'm hardly more than a few orifices with boobs, I don't find it very fun at all.. In fact I find it insulting and douchey!

Can you see all the possible misconceptions or horrible miscommunication problems that may have been assumed from making such a blanket kind of statement? Who knows if his actual idea of "fun" is or would have been so misogynist and degrading? Hell, he could have meant he was looking for someone who likes to ride roller coasters and he just can't get a day off work to whisk me away to the nearest 6 Flags but I doubt that seriously.. Just because I'm looking for a long term relationship doesn't mean I want to be with you! Even if I did decide I really like you doesn't mean I'm going to start pressuring you for facebook official right away! I very well could decide you're incredibly sexy but way too stupid for me in which case I'd be very much interested in taking you home then ignore your future booty calls afterwards! You never know, it might have been fun but now we'll never know. I could have been the one person you might have decided was worth spending more time with because a quality woman isn't going to agree to just "fun" don't ya think? Men don't want to only hang out with cheap hookers with missing teeth, do they? Idk anything anymore these days....

The point is men want sex and women want to be treated kind with respect for our feelings. There has got to be some compromise here because neither men or women are getting what they want and keep widening the divide on communicating in the way. 

You see women want to be cared for and appreciated. This is what they find "fun" or a turn on. Men just want sex and when they say they're looking for "fun" but not willing to allow the possibility of a relationship developing, they instantly make a woman feel like a mere sex doll or super cheap whore. It's the equivalent of saying "it's all about me and what I want and I will never compromise and treat you like a real person with feelings because feelings scare me so put out or I'll call you a dumb cunt!" Cuz that always works well, doesn't it? 👅😂🙊
